Since the beginning of the 20th century Musk’s have been granted Royal Warrants by four members of the household including the present monarch. Our first was granted in 1907 by the Late King George V (then the Prince of Wales), then later in 1929 by the Late Edward, Prince of Wales, thirdly in 1965 by the Late Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother and currently from Her Majesty the Queen in 2000.
The Royal Warrant has always been recognition of personal service of the highest order. To be considered for a Royal Warrant a company must supply a member of the Royal Family with a product or services for a minimum of 5 years. The appointment is granted by that member and issued by the Lord Chamberlain to a named individual within the company who assumes responsibility for ensuring that the Warrant is correctly used.
