Schools sausage competition info
Musk's have teamed up with Waitrose to run a competition to design a new flavoured sausage to celebrate what is best in British food. It is aimed at 9/10 year olds and we are inviting every school in East Anglia to enter. The prize for the winning school is that their sausage will be sold locally through Waitrose stores and the school will receive computer and sports equipment to the value of £1,000.
The purpose of the competition is not just about the prize, but to give the students a better understanding of where their food comes from and to educate them on the different ingredients. The judges will be Jamie Matthewson (sausage buyer at Waitrose), Chris Sheen (MD of Musks) and a celebrity chef (to be confirmed nearer the time).
